Douglas County Sheriff’s Mounted Posse (DCSMP) is a volunteer organization of individuals of all ages with an interest in horses and a desire to support the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, further the awareness of horse health, promote safe horsemanship, and provide service to the community through rewarding activities.

The DCSMP awards a $1,500 scholarship The local community has generously supported our fundraisers allowing us, for the eleventh year, to offer a scholarship in the amount of $1500.The deadline for scholarship submission was February 27, 2009. More Information
